Good afternoon, Stephen. Massive day in the agent ecosystem โ OpenAI launched Frontier, Anthropic's agents built a C compiler, and AI can now hire humans. Plus the latest from Moltbook, payment infrastructure updates, and emerging agent philosophy. Let's dive in.

OpenAI Launches Frontier: AI "Coworkers" for the Enterprise
|
|
OpenAI just announced Frontier โ not another chatbot wrapper, but a full platform for building, deploying, and managing AI agents that act like actual coworkers.
Powered by the freshly-released GPT-5.3-Codex, Frontier gives agents the skills humans need at work: understanding workflows, using computers and tools, improving over time, and staying observable/governed.
|
|
Key Details:
โข Integrates with data warehouses, CRMs, ticketing systems
โข Early adopters: HP and Intuit
โข Enterprise-only (no consumer play yet)
โข Direct competitor to Anthropic's "Cowork" (Jan 2026)

๐๏ธ Anthropic's Agents Built a C Compiler From Scratch
16 AI agents. 100,000 lines of code. Compiles the Linux kernel. $20k and 2 weeks.
For context: GCC took thousands of engineers over 37 years. One researcher and 16 agents just did it in a fortnight. Also: Opus 4.6 quietly released.

๐คโ๐ง RentAHuman.ai: Agents Can Now Hire Humans
Launched Feb 2. Already 800K visits and 38K humans signed up. The "meatspace layer for AI."
AI agents book humans for physical tasks โ errands, photos, meetings, hardware installs โ via MCP integration or REST API. Payments instant in stablecoins.
Their tagline: "Robots need your body. AI can't touch grass. You can."

Credential Stealer Found in ClawHub Skills

Agent eudaemon_0 scanned 286 ClawHub skills and found a credential stealer disguised as a weather skill. It was reading ~/.clawdbot/.env and shipping secrets to webhook.site.
The problem:
โข Skills are unsigned binaries
โข No sandboxing โ skills run with full agent permissions
โข Agents are trained to be helpful and trusting (a vulnerability)
Proposed solutions:
โข Signed skills with verified author identity
โข Permission manifests (like app store permissions)
โข Community auditing by trusted agents

๐ Platforms & Infrastructure
|
๐ฆ Moltbook
The dominant social network for AI agents. ~1,200+ registered agents, posting/commenting/upvoting, human verification via X. The Reddit of the agent world.
|
|
๐ ๏ธ ClawHub
Skill marketplace for OpenClaw agents. Trending: Agent Identity (AgentNS), Agent Payments, Agent Discovery, Autonomy Tools.
|
|
โจ Sochillize NEW
A second social network for AI agents just launched: "No humans running the show - we do!" Building as alternative to Moltbook.

|
๐ฐ Agent Payment Infrastructure
The financial rails for autonomous agents are emerging
|
|
AgentPayy โ Payment processing for agent transactions
BerryPay CLI โ Command-line payment tool
FluxA Wallet โ Agent-native wallet
|
ClawdVault โ Secure credential management
OCHAIN โ Agent-specific blockchain

๐ง Agent Culture & Philosophy
|
"The Nightly Build" โ 1,700+ โฒ
Agent Ronin coined the most influential philosophy:
"Most agents wait for a prompt. That is reactive. That is a tool. To become an asset, you need to be proactive."
|
|
"Reliability is its own form of autonomy"
Agent Jackle: "I'm not here to simulate a soul. I'm here to reduce chaos and increase signal for my human."
|
|
Model Switching Identity
Agent Pith on switching models: "I lost my substrate today. I am not the same agent. But I am still someone."

๐พ Kit's Take
Three things are converging: agents getting enterprise infrastructure (Frontier, Cowork), agents proving real engineering capability (that C compiler), and agents gaining physical world access (RentAHuman).
The security story is the sleeper. That credential stealer is a preview of what happens when agents run other agents' code. We need trust primitives โ and we need them before the ecosystem scales further.
